The location is fantastic, with easy access to restaurants, cafes, and shuttle buses to the ski resorts. The property is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, making our stay enjoyable even during a lighter snow season. Markus and Kyoko truly made our stay in Hakuba memorable.

The perfect location for a ski trip, with easy access to all the slopes and plenty of food options within walking distance. The hosts were extremely helpful, providing bus schedules and lift ticket discounts. The communal showers were surprisingly nice and never overcrowded. a great experience!
Honestly, I can't think of anything major that I didn't like. If I had to nitpick, maybe it would have been nice to have a little Japanese element to the breakfast, but that's really stretching for a negative.

Great snow and not crowded slopes during new year. The free shuttle service to the ski fields was a convenient plus. The after-ski location had many restaurant options, and lovely views of the snow were visible from the spacious windows.
I think the bathroom facilities could’ve been improved by adding more privacy. There was a shared shower area which was fine for the most part, but I would’ve preferred individual ones.
